mission: altruistic capitalism
What would happen if we started viewing startup dealmaking as a way to shake free the wealth from the 1%?
According to Crunchbase data, the average startup exit is $242.9 million.
Imagine that capital being injected into the hands of fearlessly ambitious, creative and passionate young entrepreneurs looking to spark positive change.
Greg is the creator of ‘Altruistic Capitalism’ - the guiding light concept that is the linchpin between the BOSS methodology & his firm, BOSS Capital Partners. This unique, sustainable perspective of capitalism effectively transforms Silicon Valley’s dealmaking culture as a vehicle to increase the liquid flow of capital to the world.
Through the lens of Altruistic Capitalism, we begin to view startup acquisitions as more than just business transactions... but as a creative way ‘spread the wealth.’ Using global tech innovation as a vehicle for change.
By using wealth distribution to entrepreneurs, supplying them with the tools to create a flourishing startup ecosystem, increase local capital marketplace activity and improve the world.
Greg Shepard’s success story is one of the most widely known testaments of overcoming obstacles in the business world today. From growing up poor with foster siblings to struggling his entire life with crippling dyslexia, Greg continues to be one of the most recognizable examples of how fearless optimism and steadfast determination will guide you toward success.
Whether it be biking along the entire coast of California, wrestling a crocodile, camping with mountain lions, deadlifting over 500lbs, or plunging into the arctic, he remains one of the strongest representations of overcoming obstacles the entrepreneurial ecosystem has ever seen.
Embracing challenges through the approach of optimism, discipline and humility have been Greg’s guiding light from a very young age. The inspiring lessons he has learned throughout his personal & professional career are what sparked the creation of the BOSS movement - effectively empowering entrepreneurs across the globe like never before.
